Secaucus is centrally located for sightseeing in places like the Meadowlands as well as New York City but there are plenty of things to do in town as well.
Head to Snipes Beach Park, Schmidts Woods, the Duck Pod, Mill Creek Marsh or a major Meadowlands preserve to see the preserved nature in areas of all sizes. There is a 1.5 mile long trailhead at Mill Creek Marsh that provides excellent access for birding.
If you are into canoeing or kayaking, check out the Laurel Hill Hudson Country Park. You can rent canoes and kayaks on weekends through October at the Hackensack Riverkeeper.
Topgolf is a great place to enjoy golfing with friends (or alone). Stop in at the restaurant for an excellent meal while there.
Hop over to the MetLife Stadium, which is home to the New York Jets as well as the New York Giants. The stadium has more than sporting events – it also hosts world class concerts and other events. Check it out for a good time!
